With urbic®, nodes as well as entire routes can be evaluated with the help of the established quality levels of traffic flow (LOS) and/or HBS 2015. The node reports can be configured in any manner according to date and time. This allows the analysis of the TLS down times to be conducted over several months or years without any problem.
On the basis of daily accurate evaluations, it is possible to prepare conclusive before-and-after comparisons. Consequently, changes resulting from programme modifications and acceleration projects can be evaluated qualitatively and quantitatively without complications – without any manual and cost-intensive analysis.
It is also possible to access individual data records at all times. Within the framework of the TLS-related quality assessment, it is therefore possible to simulate the situation regarding individual trips according to the timetable.

Moreover, the route reports enable a presentation of the traffic quality across all junctions of a route with the exact direction. The depiction on the map clearly illustrates the weak spots of public transport traffic quality.
urbic® also includes a module which enables its user to detect errors in the TLS programmes. On the basis of a quality analysis, a list of TLS is prepared whose traffic quality is conspicuous for the public transport.
The module “route related traffic quality” compares the actual drive times of freely defined sections of the route to the plan drive times of different drive time classes. With this module urbic® supports the employees of the driving time planning in the evaluation of the driving time specifications of the respective driving time classes. The comparison of the actual travel times with the theoretically possible travel times also allows well-founded statements about the traffic quality of public transport on the individual sections of the route.
