When do I need urbic?

With its analysis options, urbic® can provide support in many areas relating to public transport acceleration. The answers which urbic® can provide to the typical questions that arise in day-to-day traffic planning are given in the following.

urbic® enables an immediate and exact analysis of traffic quality in accordance with the handbook for the assessment of road traffic installations (HBS) for public transport means of transport at individual TLS, traverse lines and for complete routes and networks. When an acceleration measure is concluded, urbic® can document the quality status at-tained. urbic® permanently monitors the quality level of each individual TLS and informs the operator about any deviations. This means that quality lapses are currently identified within 24 hours. With urbic®, the quality of acceleration measures is ensured in the long term. Newcomers to urbic® can immediately analyse the current traffic quality at TLS with urbic® and compare the values with those documented earlier. If the analysis by urbic® confirms the values then everything is in order. If this is not the case, a readjustment is advisable.

There are basically two reasons why reporting points are missing in an TLS memory: Firstly, errors in the TLS may cause reporting points not to appear.
